Hi Angela,

I did not realise that a fortified city is special north of Mexico, but of course it is. Our fortified cities date back to the early Middle Ages - I see the canon, but would not have minded to see just a bit more of it.
Great view overlooking the city from up here.

Nice shot of Québec City, good representation of the city,'s skyline with Bassin Louise to the right. You chanced to have a splendid blue sky on that day. The presence of the canon recalls the fact that Québec is a fortified city. We could have met, I was there on the 22nd for the military pageant.

It's a beautiful panoramic of the city . .
It must be historical point to show partly cannon on the left, but I prefer to show whole part or crop it totally . . it's my personal preference . . hope you don't mind . .

Quebec has so much to offer to the traveller, its history, the charm of the cobblestones, the old houses etc etc.
You did a very nice composition and including the tip of the cannon adds to it.

Hi Angela,
Rare and interesting point of view of that city that I know well
( I studied there). Your choice of the north view instead of the classical
view of the Château Frontenac and the St-Laurence river is special.
