OH MY GOSH THAT'S RIGHT!! It is her birthday. What a wonderful post for her. The rose is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure it smells devine. There is nothing like the scent of a rose. You certainly have captured the beautiful details nicely. The drops of rain just add to the fresh feel of the photo.

Hi Silke, I think taking a fine photo of a rose so it shows three dimensions as you have here is a very good test for both the camera and the photographer. The colours and crop are excellent with care taken. tfs. Murray.
