Ooooo!! Very nice Dot! LOVE the smooth clouds, the wonderful tones in this shot! The reflection on the water is just amazing! Really nice saturation too! You did a great job with this!

And i thought sincerely that we had the greatest sunsets here in the beautiful Laurentians , humbly i bow my head to the excellence of this one Dot , i may have to re-evaluate the implication of my declaration here . Bravo, it is an amazing one , i like the long wharf that seems to stretch forever toward the center of the river, a very nice addition ,

I hope those wide views you get are worth living in such an open and no doubt sometimes hostile environment.

Your 1/30 shuttertime, probably did a good job smoothing out the clouds, it all looks wonderful in the most pleasing colourtones.

Beautiful soft colours here, Dot. The angle on the wharf is very effective. I like how you gave it a more panoramic view with the framing. A great view to close and open the day with.

This is very impressive sunset colors especially reflected red tone on the water to make the whole scene so powerful in mood.

I like the orange and yellow core of the sunset being placed at the magical position.

I would probably crop the bottom to show the wooden jetty from diagonal corner of the frame, but that is just a minor point.

A great capture with good exposure for this setting.

Bonjour Dot,

Belle capture que tu nous présentes ici. L'exposition, la netteté et la composition sont très bien contrôlés. Le ciel et la surface du lac sont admirablement détaillés ce qui créé beaucoups d'intérêt dans cette image. La composition nous fait entrer dans la photo par la droite, puis en suivant le quai nous aboutissons directement sur le coucher de soleil. Bravo, belle réussite.
