The landscape colors are mostly gone these days, but we have plenty of this motif. Quite fascinating if you get close enough. Not much else to say, the sun that never rises too high over the horizon any more provided an excellent light source.

Nice pic - I like the narrow DOF used to isolate those few crystals...
