“All Dressed Up” is the name of this photo taken at the Festival of Music and Lights at Bowring Park yesterday, December 6th.
Thousands of people, and many of our 4 legged friends, enjoyed the celebrations hosted by the city of St. John’s. A number of choirs sang Christmas carols before the thousands of lights were turned on.
These grey hounds were fully clad in order to combat the cold.
This annual event includes:
The Festival of Music and Lights is a celebration of holiday lights and sounds with choirs performing during the late afternoon, prior to dusk, culminating in a lighting of the trees surrounding the duck pond and main paths.
A local family will be selected to have the honor of flipping the switch to illuminate the park.
During the performances, families can enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies. |

HI Jim,
I love my dog, but he is not too fond of wearing sweaters or hats. I like the bright colors of the red and green against the dark background. Nice looking greyhounds.
