[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back in time earlier this year , when I attended in Port Saguenay to board the MV Flintereems . After talmost two weeks at see, she remained in port barely twenty hours.

You can see her here, as she is about to leave. instead The icebreaker CCGS Terry Fox will escort her on the Saguenay River down to Ile Saint-Louis where open water is still available. See the map .

Linesmen are standing-by awaiting the signal from the Master to let go the mooring lines.Off the berth , the icebreaker is doing his job to free the vessel.

Technically; increased slightly the luminosity with Photoshop CS4. Resized and framed, with necessary sharpening for posting to TL size. These last steps were done with Photofiltre.

Dear Robert hope you are doing fine! Here you have shown some lovely details. I liked the way you've kept two men on the left in the frame.Lovely sharpness and nice presentation. It's good to see how you make shot's like this so interesting!
Good work pal!

Have A Great Day Ahead!

Bonsoir Robert,

Hi Robert, an intersting picture and note, what does the MV Flintereems do?
Regards, Les

I'm always impress how your images convey the cold Robert. The ice the snow and the frost are all conveyed so that the observer can feel the chill. Colors well captured in the soft light. Impressive as usual.

Dan

It just looks so cold ...! The ice on the water is amazing.

Interesting capture of a tough business - not one I think I could ever get involved in. Simply photographing it would be too hard for me!

Hi Robert,
You really catch up the speed of posting on TL again, have to say I'm very happy with that! Great posting despite the cold weather a colorful impression of the port you are working. Great how you captured the scene. The two mans at the left show the dimensions of those huge boats. Excellent image of a harbor at winter time. Chapeau my friend!
