The Place : Saguenay City ( Port-Alfred )

Not many fishermen in attendance that day , but the Bay is invaded year after year by enthousiasts.
See the route made to catch yesterday's post at Mount Edouard Anse-Saint-Jean.

As a reference the Port-Alfred Alumininum Company of Canada facilities are visible . Note the red colors comes from the bauxite they unload from ships at the terminal. This is a terminal I used to visit, when I was working on ships between 1976-1986. You can appreciate we are at low tide, looking at dock walls in the background. The close broken ice piles are also an indication . Rocks underneath the ice along the shore line are breaking the ice at low water. It is the reason you see cabanes at a safe distance from the shore.

Technically. I did crop this one after correcting the tilted horizon . A touch of contrast. Then resized and framed for TL.

Now this is an interesting view - just don't see this kind of thing in the desert LOL.. I'm glad you straightened the horizon, looks good here. Also the contrast is about right..

Great landscape.

La pêche aux petits poissons des chenaux a été providentielle paraît-il cette année!
