[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a dark, cold and grey autumn day , I took the opportunity for a walk in a city park. The pond of the park was drained unfortunately . Only patches of waters were remaining . Fortunately, these were enough to welcome a few visitors , and even better close to the sidewalk around the pond. There was less than 10 mm of water here (^_^). I have tried many various composition without much success , as you guessed they were not static.

Technically . image uncropped. I did have to work a bit with selective colors. The grey sky prided flat colors and I had to brighten a bit the shadows and darken a bit the relatively bright water surface.

Three more days before the end of my week of duty. In the meantime, thanks for the visit and critiques.They are truly appreciated. I will be back.

Bonsoir Robert,

Ça flotte comme des bateaux, décidément l'eau est ton élément. Joli petit couple de canards, très belle netteté, bonne exposition. Joli cadrage serré. Belle capture et merci de nous la faire partager.

Excellent Robert - the reflections are flawless! I like the visible twigs and leaves under the water.
It's amazing to me that these birds survive our Canadian winters. Here too on the prairies, we have shore birds that live on our river all winter.

Amazing composition! They are just like toys, posing for the customer in the shop window. Really great for its fine details and vivid colors.

HI Robert...great shot...perfect colors and details..could you do me a favor? post a shot like this with the original in a workshop and go through the steps exactly for the final product.

There is something about your shots that is very striking and I don't quite understand..the sharpness and the colors are always impressive...thanks.
