For Friday's theme "Portrait without a face"

Taken at an Equestrian competition.I caught this competitor jumping in both directions & thought it interesting to see how far off the saddle the rider came, to lead the horse over the jump.

hi Ron grt action shot my friend unusuall pov as most takethe horse from the front but this realy captures the power of the horse and rider so i like this style tfs

it's a great actionshot but also peaceful for me. That's because it's in good balance with the two side fences and all that green. Nice pict and a good contribution to the theme.

This is a great shot and shows the pure majesty of the horse imho. With the lush green of the grass the grey stand out very effectively, a very good action shot well done.

Really well timed shot, capturing the drama and dynamism of the jump. Well exposed, with details retained well within the whites of the horse. A good action shot.

Hi Ron,
Excellent sports picture, great contrast of the white horse against the green. Try nex time to get this shot with the horse jumping into the picture i.s.o. out the frame :-) Anyway excellent equestrian impression!
