[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here's my requisite cliché shot from Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies. I took it last year on our vacation - you can see another shot of the lake that was my first post ever on TE.

I thought I deserved to have an equal shot in my gallery here on TL.

There must be 12 billion or more photographs like this one, and for good reason. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. You could drop your camera and the shutter could open accidentally and the result would probably have a nice scene.

I got up really early for these shots, especially since I was on vacation. I was staying in the Chateau Lake Louise, though, so I didn't have far to go.

So, even though there are probably 20 more of these here on TL, I hope you enjoy the repeat!

Well, I never tire of seeing shots of this beautiful spot either. You're right, there are millions like it, but still .. this is a great early morning view, with the sun hitting the side of the mountains on the right. The canoes in the foreground are a nice addition. Great shot Reed.

Yes, I've seen shots of this scene before but no, I'm not bored by yours. You've managed the difficult lighting conditions well and I particularly like the way the colour of the canoes is picked up by the sun-lit rocks on the right.

DON'T DROP YOUR CAMERA! This is grand Reed! The red boats, especially are an eye catcher, a great lead in line to that gorgeous scenery. Not easy shooting in the shadows, but you did a great job keeping the OE off the snow! Marvelous shot!

A cliche perhaps but beautifully executed - the play of light and shadow, and particularly the way the sleeping kayaks light up the lower left corner of the frame is very nice.

wow wow this is a piece of heaven.. superbe light and shadow effect, it's like coloring one side of the mountain vividly and the other a bit gloomy, amazing contrast, impeccable DOF and POV...it's absolutely wonderful that I can keep looking at it for a while... it reflects a fresh splendid atmosphere and mood in general..
