Good Day ,

A quick one today, for the flower lovers (^_^).

If recently I worked my images from our trip to Philadelphia on my PC since our return, Martine in the meantime was taking care of her garden.

As days are now warm and Sunny , we started to eat on our patio. I realized our flowers were pretty grown up. I took a few shots after dinner with my old Powershot Pro.

Technically: Image uncropped . Used the super macro mode for a narrow DOF. With Photofiltre, Adjusted luminosity and sharpness. Filtered with Neat Image.

OI will get back with exif data.

The delicate flower was captured with good details,
the petals are very exposed and they have good texture!
A presentation very composed with fine natural colors!

Fantastic detail on the Iris, Robert. The color combinations are so beautiful ... you've really got an interesting and original perspective on this one. I like it a lot - definitely not your typical flower shot!

Love this very close up look Robert.
The colors and sharpness are excellent and I love this certain softness in the image.

Hello Robert, irises always make a good subject, and here I like the crop so that we get the shape and colours of the petals in close detail.

Qui dois-je féliciter? Martine pour son jardin? Ou toi pour la photo?

Peu importe la fleur, ici c'est l'approche (dans les deux sens du mot) photographique qui en fait une oeuvre d'art. J'aime le jeu des détails et des masses floues, la souplesse des courbes et l'agencement des couleurs. On peut voir que tu n'as pas pris cette photo...

Mais tu as fait une photo... en prévisualisant le résultat final. Du beau travail, compliments.
