Hello Karen,

You must be complimmented here on keeping the subject so sharp when there is obviously a lot of movement!
The horizontal layers and lines help to lead the eyes through the shot.
The blue and red banner give a good colourful b/g to the focal images.

It looks very dangerous.
Did anyone get hurt?

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Karen

And the good decisive moments shots from the rodeo just keep coming! Excellent sharpness, colour & timing. Tfs!

Hi Karen,
Nice shot of your rodeo series, well captured moment, a nice action shot. Good sharpness, you managed to freeze the moment perfectly. TFS!
Greetings,
Kristof

Hello Karen, you obviously had a wonderful time at the rodeo.Another great shot, your timing was perfect, no blurring at all!
Your PoV makes us feel as if we are in the arena and a part of the action.
I like all the faces peering through the fence, totally absorbed in what is going on.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Good action shot Karen, perfectly timed, or like me did you take several shots in anticipation of this perfect one:)
I wonder what type of image a slower shutter speed would have given,I know the horse & falling rider would have been blurred, but would it also be as effective, as it would show this action in another interesting way? Great Rodeo series.
By the way Steve{wahclellaspirit] may do another TL meet in August to the painted Hills area,he needs a positive from at least 5 TL members, thought you may be interested, you can contact him if you are.
Cheers

Hi Karen,
Another great shot from this event, the cowboy in this shot was definitely one of the lucky ones. I too wonder what this would look like with a slow shutter speed. If you're ever at an event like this again, try using a slow shutter speed and pan across when taking the photo. It should leave the BG blurred but the horse and rider in focus. Could be a bit of fun :). Nice work with this one though, the fast shutter speeds has worked wonders for you again and frozen everything perfectly.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Karen,
Excellent action shot again . wanderful caught of view and details.
Picture very sharp and clear...
all my compliments.
I like it...

warm regards

Helo Karen
Great action picture

Good shot Karen. The rope is flying about and the horses position both suggest movement. It's easy to see that this cowboy is just making a landing the right way up.
