[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an old photo I took in Lethbridge, Alberta. The gold, blue and green colors of the prairie against this big barn. While I was there trying to take pictures, I wished I had a ladder to stand on, to give me a better perspective over the fields.

hi Andre
i have a problem of language to explain what i feel about this picture
in the sky it's fake but there is no problem for me on that point
it's just how it looks, the stripes of each tone of turquoise are too much visible
but i miss some words to explain it better
however, the overall composition pleases me a lot
it's just the problem of these visible stripes

As TL a site for learning about photography, I have to say that a mention in your note about the added sky would be helpful!

One of the drawbacks of adding gradients is that most programs don't deliver a smooth progression of colours, but rather a staggered gradient in which the subtle changes of colour are still visible to us. I haven't figured out how to fix that yet, other than blurring the gradient slightly!

I do like your composition, and the contrast between the green-blue of the sky, and the green and yellow of the land. Good placement of the barn.

A lovely composition with decidedly vivid colors.
I wonder if a white cloud or two at the right position would make it even better.
I hope you do not ask me how and from where you could get them; I am not good at carrying clouds with me as well :)
(But, if you had supplied the sky yourself like rewshearer said, finding them might have been easier).

I think you have some very lovely layers with a good pov the innatural sky does bug me but I think overall this is a lovely picture. I tried to fix the sky somewhat but cant figure out how to get rid of the lines
