Beautiful Annie ... dramatic foreboding sky, dramatic dark water, and nice brightly lit lighthouse in the distance and rocks in the foreground. Great shot!
You must be getting beautiful fall colors out there in the east?

A nice minimalist landscape/seascape/cloudscape here Annie. I like the wide angle POV and that captures the dramatic clouds well.

I reckon an evening shot here with the lighthouse flashing would be a good photo too... With the blue hour sky..

Living on the sea side myself I ve seen this kind of weather many times Annie,I love the changing colors of the sea turning into black on the horizon.

Such a wonderfully dramatic shot, Annie,
that foreboding sky, the dark choppy water and the clouds give a feeling of movement and menace. Like they emanate out from a dark and stormy place. The lighthouse stands out wonderfully from all the darks and grays and the rocks in the FG give it excellent depth. This is definitely a mood shot. And marvelously done. Annie, you are one VERY BUSY lady with a camera! And an excellent shooter, I might add!! This long range perspective of this historic old lighthouse is superb! The framing, cropping, and use of the dramatic clouds is excellent. Your use of Photoshop and other softwares adds so much to your images it is almost unbelievable, but very believable as portrayed here. Wonderful image!!

Greetings Annie,
I like the symbolism of your image.I think most viewers associate a Light House, as a warning beacon to assist ships
navigators in bad weather, to keep clear of dangerous shore lines. Your dark sea with the ominous stormy clouds above it,as well as though large foreground rocks, makes me think that your Light House will be helping some ship in a storm soon.So your image, IMHO not only shows the structure of the lighthouse but its reason for being.
