Wow, another great contribution from you!
This is a lovely capture of the light-house with superb clarity!

A great mood is created through the wonderful formation of the clouds. I like the red color against the cloudy sky, as it stands out very well against the semi black clouds. The sharpness and POV are perfect.

A dramatic sky with some marvelous sun rays still peeping from behind the dark clouds lighting the lighthouse and the surrounding red building.

Hi Annie,
A beautiful moody shot of this wonderful lighthouse. I really love the style of this wooden structure. You certainly picked the perfect day to make this photo. The sky has tons of mood and helped to make the subject stand out. I think that adding the vignetting did its job as well, although it's not my personal taste. It was a pitty that they had to put up the bright colored netting.

This shot bears all your hallmarks!
Wonderful composition with that brightly coloured lighthouse providing a superb f/g focal image and it appears to be banishing the threatening clouds!
The repeating reds ensure that the eyes travel into the b/g.

Bonjour Annie,

Jolie contribution pour le thème du vendredi. Effectivement, la lumière chaude et rasant d'un soleil couchant (ou levant)intensifie fortement la coleur rouge du phare et des constructions environnante. De plus, en opposition avec ciel froid et dramatique, il en ressort un atmosphère très intense comme tu l'as susggéré. Bravo.

Tu as su capter la lumière du soleii avant l'orage éclairant ainsi les façades du phare et de la maison qui a leur tour sur ta photo donnent toute leur lumière à cette terre brune et au ciel rempli de nuages noirs!!!
