WOW! Your HDR skills are amazing Annie! This is wonderful. Not overdone, sharp as it can be! ISO 1600 is really high! I think you could have done well with ISO 400 on this. And sitting the camera down someplace, on a stump, or a rock! This is incredible, I must say, you worked it out!

Hi Annie,
Tremendous HDR work, it all looks so natural. Great composition with the house, it's dark brown colour makes it quite visible through the leaves and trees. There is some very slight blur in some of the FG leaves, but understandable due to the 1/40s shutter speed. What I am most impressed with here is how there seems to be no visible grain despite the very high ISO. Neat Image looks like it has worked well. Impressive work, especially considering the circumstances.

Hi Annie,
A lovely fall shot. Good processing to get rid of the noise. You could not tell that this was shot at ISO1600. Noise level is very acceptable. The photo looks very much like many that I shot during last two weeks here in Ontario.

Hello Annie,

I find that I get noise when I pump up the ISO on my camera but it is not evident here!
The colours have excellent depth and vibrance, making a lovely autumnal frame for the sleepy shack, nestling in the vegetation. It is well placed in the frame and retains good details.
A splendid record of Nature's autumn palette.

This is of course a great shot.Personally I don't do much PP.I imagine that this shot would have come out great leaving it darker by using a lower ISO.Adds to the mystery sort of thing.Anyway great work.Regards Otto.

Bonsoir Annie.J'aime la composition et les couleurs dans cette photo.Je ne peux pas te donner de conseils sur le HDR ne l'ayant jamais essayé.Cependant je dois avouer que je trouve ton image tout simplement trop aiguisée,tellement que ça me donne mal aux yeux lorsque je la contemple pendant un certain temps.Peut-être que le fait de l'avoir prise à du 800 ISO au lieu de 1600 aurait aidé un peu mais avec les appareils prefectionnés d'aujourd'hui,la différence d'ISO ne se voit pratiquement plus.Est-ce que tu fais un "sharpen" additionnel avant de publier la photo sur TL.Je sais que c'est recommandé mais ça ne donne pas toujours de bons résultats.Mais peut-être que ce sont mes yeux tout simplement,je me fais vieux aussi! A photo like this makes me feel like a child again and I ewant to go crunching the leaves, not just under my feet but to roll in them too! Nice woodland shot - good diffused lighting that brings the colour out best!! I like the low POV too as it gives the feeling that the shack is kind of hiding in the foliage..

This is a wonderful place in the colourfull forest. Excellent brightness and fine autumn colours well captured and framed, although I'm not sure about the choice of the font of the text. Anyway a great posting Annie!

NZ does not get alot of colour in the fall I am told and if it did I am sure it wouldn't come close to Canada.
You could get lost in this array of colour, its a shame it does not go on longer like Winter!!
