Here's another sunset on beautiful Manitoulin Island, Ontario, at Lake Mindemoya with Adirondack chairs.

Mindemoya, in Ojibwa, means old women. To the right is Treasure Island which is not in full view. It has something to do with the island, it supposed to look like the back of an old women.

Mounted the 20D on a tripod
17-85mm IS with 67mm Hoya U.V.
Manual
1/80 at F16
ISO 400
In photoshop elements 2, resize for web from original, rotate, slight crop, frames and name.

Hope you like this one.

Those chairs are certainly inviting to sit and relax on. This is a really nice sunset picture with a good composition with the chairs in almost silhouette with the tree branches hanging in the left corner. Well done!

What a lovely view. I'd love to sit there too, with mycamera and watch the sun going down. Excellent composition. I like how you placed the chairs in the foreground as it adds a lot of interest. Great work Mike.
I did a quick try with some extra Luko method sharpening, and it really popped.

Hi Mike, is that chair for me? ooohhh, it would be nice...
Very nice colors and composition, peaceful pic. TFS
Gabriella

Very quiet and peaceful, "have a nice evening..."

Hi Mike, amazing pic - love the mood ! Wish I was there, even without my camera, just taking in this beautiful sunset.

Marleen

Wonderful picture Mike and you took it just at the right time catching just a little more than half of the sun. I can appreciate the atmosphere you have created. What a nice place to be. Great work

John

Hi Mike, You have created a brilliant sunset. But not just that, the fact that you have the place and equipment to enjoy it from makes it so much beter. It is a wonderful pic. All you need is to old people sitting there holding hands...

Thanks so much for your last couple of critiques and workshop, it made a dramatic difference to my PS processing.

A lovely image Mike, very picture postcard.
Great composition and use of light.
I could sit there for hours ......
Well done.

The sunset, reflection and empty chairs say it all - added to the POV, DOF and a great frame - well you have it mike - a dynamite combination. Great work ....TFS, Sam

Thanks Mike, I will sit down! Beautiful scene with the setting sun showing such warm and pretty colours. The silhouettes of the chairs and plants and the reflections on the water, make it quite special. Well done.
Is this your view from home?

Hey Mike, this is a beauty. What a view. I particularly love the colours you've captured, and that beautiful reflection. TFS.
You could spare yourself some time; detailed photo info is in the link under "photo information"; if you used a tripod there is a checkbox when you upload... or do you really like to type a lot ? LOL

Spectacular shot Mike,
I'd love to be sat in one of those chairs with a camera remote in one hand (obviously camera set up on tripod!) and a nice cold pint in the other. Great suset.
Thanks for psoting

You know me, Mike, of all the shots you posted recemtly I had to pick this one. Love the sunset, love the lake, love sunsetfishing, love the angle and the pov, putting those chairs in front of the sunset was a stroke of genius. Really makes one want to be there. And a pretty cool frame with a cool signature.

But what happened to Fujimom?

WOW!
I think you captured the magical moment very well. The colour, composition, lighting & POV are excellent. The frame suits it perfectly.
Well done :)

I agree with Tintin: the chair is absolutely inviting to sit in. Added my sunset photo to the sunset theme, checked the other and must say...you are the winner!

Ahhhhhh...now if that isn't the picture of relaxation I don't know what is...:o) Beautiful...TFS
