[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was on the Dartmouth waterfront for the Canada Day fireworks when some friends I was with pointed out the moon over the refinery behind us all. I got off some shots, of which I feel this is the best.

This is not bad. I like the fuzzy moon a lot. May be, as a workshop, you could try to remove the little lights that disturb a bit.

It looks excellent. You don't need to change anything. Especially I like the smoke around. Congrats.

Good shot, I like how you captured the moon. Good composition.

Good shot Steve
First i was going to tell you that you'r not supose to bring a camera in a refinery for safety purposes as i work in the field but then i saw your note. loll
I have a small request for you, i'm looking forard to get an other camera on top of my Canon Powershot S30 an i would like your opinion on the Canon Digital Rebel (D300) S.v.p. oups Please! Thnx's Michel

i like the way the smog distorts the moon in this shot. i also think the small lights compliment the dark sky.
this is a very nice shot.

I like the moon a lot, It's a bit scary.
I think that the buildings not realy suit in this scenario, there should be dead trees instead (maybe an idea for a workshop).
Anyway, good job! Sorry for my faults, my English is not that good.

Brilliant. Very symbolic. Looks like moon getting smelted? It's eerie - disturbing and of course very artistic. Thanks Steve for sharing

Because of the distortion of the moon and the dark silhouettes, the shot is a bit spooky and disturbing. Great capture. Sometimes I guess pays off to look back. TFS.

Absolutely stunning picture. The contrast between the red of the moon and the coolness of the evening sky really offset one another. Excellent job!
