[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We travelled up to Charlevoix county in Québec on Thursday last on a 3 day trip to Iles aux Coudres which lies in the St. Lawrence river about an hour and a half drive east of Quebec City. It had been cloudy on the way from Montreal, but here it had begun to clear a little as we waited for the ferry boat that our bus would board taking us over to the island. The sun shone through the gaps in the cloud and I stood watching the sun sparkling on the ripples of the river and wishing I could capture the blinding light drops as they flickered. I would need a movie camera to capture that however, and though I could have made a film clip I chose just to take a still frame and see what happened. Well it has given a very moody look I think, and the clouds make a nice pattern in the sky, as I shot into the sun.

Hi Joan

I like the arch of the foreground rope, the sparkle on the water, & the sharpness. But I'm not sure about the 'speckled' parts, across the background mts. Nice try, though.
