[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo of the moonrise over the Lake Ontario was taken at Coronation Park, Oakville, Ontario.
Oakville is a beautiful small town situated 45 km west of Toronto. Downtown core of Oakville along the lake front is a tranquil place where one can experience all the good things of small towns of Ontario. I go over there whenever I am fed up with the hustle bustle of Toronto.

This photo was taken one day after the full moon on sept 17. It was a beautiful evening. I don't know why the moon came out as a big blob, any suggestions to avoid this would be welcome. Eventhough this photo looks like a b/w version but there is no PP involved besides running it in a neat image once.
Thanks in advance for your kind words .. Cheers!

Hi Sarju - I like the moon reflection and the way you have caught it on the rocks. I suppose (and it is only my guess) the moon 'blob' could be for 15 sec exposure that you have given. Did you try other shutter speeds too - what was the outcome?
Mukesh

Simply but strong narration. Bravo.

Really nice! Mood is cool.. I like the light coming from moon.. keep it up, you are a artist..

Personally, I like the big blob! It looks very surreal. Your composition is spot on with the rocks in the moon reflection. Excellent!

Sarju, that's beautiful. Great night photo with really cool lighting! You did a perfect job of ligning up the rocks with the moon reflection. Really cool photo!! JP
Points tomorrow.

Great shot u capture here Sarju
I never had the pleasure of seeing the moon rise over Lake Ontario
maybe I just never noticed it but its beautiful I’ll have to pay attention to it.
Thanks for sharing this great shot

Hello Sarju, Beautiful moonlight photo and the ray of light on the rock makes a special feel :)

My opinion of the blob is that the moon moves very fast and this would be the trailing of it for a 15 seconds shot. :)

Take care, Yan

Very surreal picture, Sarju, and I really like the effect of the light from the moon and the line it creates toward the rocks in the water. Excellent!

Hi Sarju

Really cool composition. It does look B&W, how strange! Maybe your exposure was too long? My only advice would be to be sure your horizon is straight, the lake doesn't tilt, LOL!!

Great capture,

Alli

I like the reflection of the moon from the water and the the rocks gave more attractions on this shoot... so peaceful.
