Nice b&w. The burning and dodging you did made for very intense tones. Nice compositon with the tree off centered. I like very much the color of your clouds...awesome. The only thing that bugs me a little bit is the dark area surrounding the tree by the horizon...looks like you burned a circle there...would've like to see it closer to the same shade as the grass next to it on the outer left or right sides. Still...very nice shot. The grass in the front, the tree, and the sky...work very well together.

The more I look at this photo the more I like it. I like how the silhuetted tree is contrasted by the brightly lit grass in the foreground. The sky is almost overpowering, clouds being drawn into a background source. The parial city scape adds an imbalance, perfect for creating the visual triangle.
I really like the photo Sam!

Wonderful effect from the clouds. This is a great image and You have done some very effective postprocessing, but I have to agree with Richard that the burning could be a little smoother. It looks burned instead of natural, but still a terrific image. The only reason I get bugged with less than perfect dodging and burning is because I'm a complusive perfectionist who spent years in the darkroom not getting the results I demanded from myself.

I love the light colored grass in the foreground on the bottom of the frame. Not as dramatic as the sky, but still really awsome grafically.
