[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The fall colours this year are not as good as they have been in other years. I spent a whole day wondering around getting frustrated. When the sweet light arrived, I noticed this small area where it was falling nicely. I shot furiously for about 20 minutes and finally came up with something. It made the frustrating day worthwhile. It's like fishing. Sometimes you catch something and sometimes you don't. You have to enjoy the fishing part.

Processed using the new Raw Shooter Premium. The new vibrance setting seems pretty good. Sharpened a bit more in PS and framed.

Cheers

Pretty landscape. Typical very well presented/displayed image. Great shot.

It was worth searching for such a beautiful landscape. Don't worry, you'll find more interesting colors in a while. Meanwhile, think of all those people who envy you for these colors, because it's always warm where they live! :)
...not for me, I've done a couple of shots like this lately, welcome to the "Autumn colors" club! :)
Very good photo with interesting composition. I like those diagonal late afternoon sunrays, they add a special touch to the overall composition.
Regards,
Robert

cadrage and compo are originale and aesthetic
congrats

Ah Fall (Autumn) colours and the problems they cause. I know the feeling Joe, I go out during Autumn and think howwonderful the colours are and there is no sun, or the light isnt strong enough.
Nicely captured photo with the subtle colourings Joe, TFS.
Regards
David

Lovely autumn scene Joe. I know what you mean about our fall colours this year. I experienced the same. I found the lack of red leaves this year. You did quite well here though with the oranges and yellows. Very good composition.
You asked about how to use Curves in the forum. I have put an idea for you in the workshop. I hope the info helps.

Hi Joe,

Lovely photo!
Fantastic colours and light! I like the way the sun tries to pass through the leaves and gives wonderful shades and gradiations.
Well seen & presented!

Bonjour Joe
This is a colourful array of vibrant colors and darker tones.
The tree row leads inevitably to orange leaves.
Foreground is quite season evocative.
Bravo.

Hi Joe.
Very useful notes and lovely photo.Placed it in my favourites.Nice choice of frame. Most of us have experienced your frustration in not finding much to shoot. My photo for Refugee (David) was one such shot.Nothing much in an hour of shooting then 1 that made it all worthwhile.Nice scene with lovely colors, especially the carpet of leaves.Well done.TFS.
Kind regards,
Robert
