| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here is the note that people seem to want on this photo:
Unfortunately, this is not a photo of molten glass... I intended for it to be abstract, therefore if you want to think about it as being molten glass, that is fine. If you think of it as something else, that's fine too. The reason why I didn't put a note with this photo is because when you tell someone what something is, their imagination shuts down, and they think of it as that thing and only that thing.
It's amazing how much we humans crave to put a name on everything we see. If it doesn't have a name, we can't feel comfortable about it.
Is this too much of an explanation for you?
Short version: There is no note for this photo on purpose.

Cool, i like it very much, nice vivid color, is a glass? i hope next time u put some notes
The photograph of the molten glass block is my impression. Am I right? If this the case, I would rather have the background included. Anyway, this is a good picyure.
Its human nature to want an instant answer, rather than be challenged, epecially in our society of fast food mentality.
I am an art educator and I can understand that perfectly as I am faced with students wanting answers to everything rather than having the urge to explore and find out... I like this picture for its hypnotic effect due to the concentric nature of its composition and the combination with warm and intense yellow ornge.
