[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Cameron Lake in Waterton National Park. Waterton is a beautiful spot, almost as nice as Banff, but with no crowds. Cameron Lake is a half hour drive from town, and the lake is a short hike from the end of the road.

This was taken in early morning light (about 9 a.m. as I recall). Composition done in the camera. Post processing consisted of adjusting the brightness and contrast to leave detail in both the dark trees and the light grass areas.

RP: Cropped the bottom a bit (but I still liked the reflection of the grasses, so there is some grass at the bottom). I also turned down the brightness a bit to improve the detail in the grass. Thanks for the suggestions and help!

I have another photo of the region photgraphed in the winter at: http://www.treknature.com/gallery/photo40219.htm .

Now it looks good Mike. Cutting some on the foreground. Again, i like the trees on the mountain.
good shot.

Yup...I think the RP has helped it a lot. I liked the first version well enough, but this slightly darker one now has more punch to it. Well worht using up a day's upload allowance for :)
