Today 15 of September, we celebrated in Mexico the proclamation of independence given by the priest Don Miguel Hidalgo and Costilla in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, in the year of 1810, herre ileave a review them of the flag removed from Wikipedia. HIDALGO LIVES, ALIVE VILLA, ALIVE ZAPATA, ITURBIDE LIVES, THE HEROES LIVE THAT GAVE INDEPENDENCE US! MEXICO LIVES!
The Flag of Mexico is one of the three Patrios Symbols of Mexico. The Flag consists of a divided rectangle in three vertical strips of identical measures, is tricolor and in her the colors are distinguished green, white and red. To the center, it contains the National Shield. The wide and long proportion between of the flag, is from four to seven (4:7). Through the time, the flag has changed in several occasions, as much the design as the proportion of the strips. Even so, the shield of arms has presented/displayed almost always the same pattern: an eagle put in a nopal, devouring serpiente.Generalmente considers like the first Mexican flag to the Standard used by Cura Miguel Hidalgo and Costilla at the beginning of the war of Independence, are some that the flags used by the Mexicas armies also consider in Pre-Hispanic Mexico. The Flag of Mexico is used so much by civil organizations as governmental, in war and peacefully and as much in earth as in sea and air. The shield this positioned in the Center and this inspired by the Aztec legend on the Foundation of Mexico-Tenochtitlan (at the moment the City of Mexico). It counts the legend that the nomadic tribe of the Aztecs was vagando, without knowledge where to build its capital city. The God Huitzilopochtli I indicate to them that in the place where they found an eagle devouring a serpent stopped in a nopal they had to construct its city. After many generations to look for that place, the Aztecs found dícha signal in a small small barren island in the Lake of the Texcoco. The present design of the shield was created by Francisco Eppens Helguera and approved by president Gustavo Diaz Ordaz The colors of the flag were originated of those of the flag of the Three Guarantees, that lasted from 1821 to 1823. Originally the following colors had the meaning: Green: Independence (of Spain). Target: Religion (religion, Roman catholic faith). Red: Union (between European and American). Green: Hope. Target: Unit. Red: The blood of the heroes.
In the photo I show several flags taken by my, I am to the front, and also is our monument to the revolution:D |
