[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Distant view of volcano Popocatepetl ( 'Popo ' as the active volcano is affectionately known here ) as seen from Cholula 's Santuario de Nuestra Senora de los Remedios sitting on top of a very large mostly unexcavated 'pyramid '(in fact several ones built on top of each other ).The volatile volcano is 5452 m in height and is a wonderful sight in good atmospheric conditions....
I caught this young couple enjoying the distant view ( 35 kms away as the crow flies ) as if they cherished the moment , cozy as they were in their admiration and respect for the mighty Giant ....

Fortunate indeed, to find that the girls knee echoes the volacano's classic shape - linking foreground and background to geat effect.

Fantastic view, beautifully captured - the couple in the foreground in silhouette are an extra element that really adds to the shot. Giving that human perspective adds a sense of the vastness of the mountain.

Semblent ébahis devant la fumerolle de Sa Majesté et dans l'attente d'une manifestation plus spectaculaire!
Ta présentation sans couleurs rehausse l'aspect mystique du tableau déjà suggéré par le brouillard.
L'ambiance méditative est fort bien rendue.

Great Carol !
IMO you played it right : dark silouette of the couple
and the faint gray values of the volcano ( background ).
A bit to much detail, contrast, ... and it would be
a " beautiful snapshot "
you didn't take the bait ! :-)
