[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello Everyone,
A man begs on the sidewalk of a street in central Mexico City . He is actually doing his trade right under my hotel room window .In fact he does that every morning , well apparently so as i had seen him every single day during my stay at this hotel , a good 2 weeks in all .He seems to be an outsider, a native from a more indigenous region of the country, here under a bright morning light i caught a shadow of an approaching person ,a regular client perhaps ....Is it going to work for him this time well he desperately needs money.....
Iso 80,f/3.5,1/500 , in PP i tried to reduce intensity of the glare on the hat ,adjusted shadows and framed,

Hi Carol,
this is very good.
Again the POV here makes this truly striking.
The composition is very good - but I am not very sure about the other shadow on the left.
Perhaps it could be cloned out.. or perhaps it's just personal preference.

Hi Carol
Good composition and use of light, with good shadow. I would be tempted to clone out the shadow on the left, its a bit distracting. Nevertheless good job

An excellent capture, I like the pov, showing us exactly how you saw him. The lighting and shadows are great, as is the bg. Well done! TFS

excellent perspective, almost like Rodshenko... art and a quality image to be proud of.. the hat is fine, the colours are excellent, I would love to see this as a full B/W image..

I think here the composition is super with the two diagonal shadows shadows making the whole photo. I like the mans bright white hat ,very clean too..... a good observation...Thanks Carol.....Roman:0)

I hear begging pays well...... but I think crooks steeal from beggers, and most beggers are not rich!

This is a very good capture, I like the angle from where you took the photo, and also the lines of the pavement. The oncoming shadow makes the story complete. My guess is that he is fron the Sierra of Puebla.

point de vue original, j'aime beaucoup la texture du sol. Je pensais au premier abord que l'ombre a gauche était gênante, mais en fait elle pourrait fonctionner comme un motif prolongeant l'ombre du personnage...

C'est une très jolie image avec de très belle couleurs et une bonne lumière.
