She has absolutely beautiful eyes! This photo would be much better, however, if it was taken in open shade without a flash. Her eyes would sparkle even more then!

my word, what a beautiful child. Those eyes are astonishing. This is very well composed, nice tight crop, but the flash has left the highlights a bit harsh and the shadows way deep. How could you improve such a shot. I think it is complete just with your grandchild eyes. Good details and with such a subject, I forgot about the dog.
