[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is nice to be back in San Francisco Bay Area after a short cruise to the Mexican Reviera. I enjoyed the sights of Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.

I will be posting my photos in TL in tandem and complimenting my photos posted on TE.

At Puerto Vallarta, as you come down the cruise ships the first thing that will greet you are the folk dancers of the area, then stores of silver jewelries and these ceramic plates. These plates are all hand painted, bright and colorful. But it pales in workmanship and richness in design compared to the ceramic works in Italy. Here in Puerto Vallarta, they have "Siesta" hours like in Spain. Stores and businesess are closed from 2:00 to 4:00PM. Some of the more popular items purchased by the tourist are paper mache crafts, leather goods, embroidered cotton dresses, silver jewelry, ceramics, Mexican liquer "Kahlua" and pre-columbian replica arts.

The colours really jump out of my screen. It's a treat to see this lovely workmanship. I like how you filled the whole frame with the plates. Very nice Andre'. Glad you are back, and hope you enjoyed your holiday.

The light plays nice tricks on the plates, like adding a dimension to the scene. Good straight down POV. Well done!

Ta photo est pleine de bonne humeur! La composition est parfaite, l'ensemble est parfaitement équilibré! Tu as trouvé le bon POV et le Bon DOF! De plus, les ombres et les rayons qui tombent sur les assiettes semblent faire danser les couleurs! Ta photo est vivante, c'est génial!

The sprinkled shadows on each plate multiply hues and colors, contributing to abstraction.
