The most cliché picture ever invented : the sunset...
But I've discovered that it's not that easy to get a good one in Mexico. The sun sets around 6:30 PM, every evening. Bit earlier in the winter, bit later in the summer. And when there aren't any clouds, well... the sun just disappears in a matter of seconds. Forget the beautiful colors you associate with the word sunset. Nothing, nada...
That's why, once in a while, I'm grateful for clouds. Not often, only when I'm in a warm country, taking pictures of a sunset...
(The light metering happened right in the center of the picture, straight into the sun, so the center is a bit overexposed, while the sea has a dark, threatening, bit doomsday-y color to it... and I like it that way...) |

Hi Vincent,
What a lovely sunset photo!
The sun hidden behind the clouds makes the sky look fantastic!
I made a Workshop to make the colours even more intense. I hope you don't mind. :)
Well done on the composition!!!
