Hello Maria,

A well taken photograph of an animal that causes great concern to most of the human population! He has a very wide smile but you know what they say:
'Never smile at a crocodile
No, you can't get friendly with a crocodile
Don't be taken in by his welcome grin
He's imagining how well you'd fit within his skin!'
You have captured good details with a well chosen dof.

I just wish you had been able to get a shot of him a little more head-on.
I find myself wanting to turn the shot round a little so that the crocodile is looking more at the camera. A ersonal thing, I know!

Non seulement c'est la photo d'un sourire mais c'est une photo qui provoque le sourire. Alors doublement pertinente pour le thème de ce vendredi.
J'aime beaucoup la composition et la grande luminosité de l'image.

I have seen and held alligators in Quintana Roo, Mexico! I love going to Xel-Ha and Tulum! It's so beautiful! This is a scary picture! He smiles so you will come closer! I fear for the children, these animals don't care, they are hungry! They will associate humans with food! Very scary, but a good posting!

Hello Maria José,
Your reply to Janos makes me smile of joy for i thought reading the first line the poor baker had got seriously maimed but of course all ended well for him as he has gone back since to doing what he does best: baking, happy ending really ! Makes me wonder why he and the kids that throw him food get so close as to possibly get grabbed !( thinking of the unlucky baker again , ) Beverly is right about you ,me ,someone fitting well in his belly , rightfully you can't befriend a crocodile either , lol !
Nice shot , you show him in his medio ambiente and what a big smile he has like the big mad wolf in the little red riding hood story!
