[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is where we were last week, while Toronto was buried in 20 cm of snow. This is Mayan Riviera in Mexico, the incredibly beautiful beach at Tulum. The famous Mayan ruins are on the top of the cliff on the left of the photo.

The beach at Mayan Riviera must be one of the most beautiful in the world. The beach here is made out of pure white sand so fine that it feels as if you are walking on powder. Running parallel to the beach is the 2nd longest coral reef in the world. It is so full of fish, when snorkelling among the coral, sometimes you feel as if you are in a National Geographic TV special. As you can see, the water comes in all kinds of shades of blue.

Indeed a very special place, the perfect place to forget about winter, at least for a short period.

Hi Sunil

A wonderful beachscape, with an attractive turquoise colour of the sea. Good graphism & composition using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

Congrats,
Nice framing and beautiful colors.
Could have more detail in the foam with a little underexposure.

This is more like what we are experiencing here in Australia for Christmas. Very good composition and lovely colours. Maybe a little over-exposed and lacking some sharpness, but what a magnificent sky!

Andrew

Hi Sunil,
What a lovely vacation you must have had. I love the composition here with the rosks and surging waves. Fantastic range of greend and blues. Reminds me just a bit of Weligama:)
