Nice POV. Sharp image.
But, the first question came in my mind was what you discovered? Means, the focus should have been more on the trees and beach. Anyway, good shot.

A great idea here - the hand shifting aside the palm leaf, making it feel as if we're discovering paradise!
I do think it would have been better if the beach was in focus and the hand blurred: as it is, your photograph is about the hand, and not the discovery!
Also, a fairly crucial detail - the horizon isn't level! I guess that creates a great slope for waterskiers (joke) but looks fairly odd in a photo.

I think the shallow DOF is why not more attention has been given to this one.
The colours and creativity are great though.
