My father called last night to let me know that my Grandpa had passed away late yesterday afternoon. We will be flying back to Texas for the funeral in Oklahoma, so I will be absent a few days. I consider you all like a second family, and I wanted you all to know.

So sorry to hear about your lost, Amy. I do remember the picture you had posted of him and he seemed such a wonderful person so full of character so it is very sad to lose him. This is a beautiful picture of a dark sunset which represent your sadness so very well. Take good care of yourself and of your parents. See you soon!

What's more beautiful than a sunset, Amy? Few things, except maybe a life. Combine the two, and you have a metaphor that's unbelievably powerful and moving. God-made and man-made coming together, in a perfect moment.

94 years old! He's led a long life on this earth. And don't you know that he's happy to move on to his new one!

Tough few days coming up for you, sweetheart. Take care, and you know we'll all be thinking of you.

Love,
Gayle :)

Amy,

My thoughts are with you and your family.

Take care.

My grandfather died I was seven. He was my best friend and my favorite person. In November it will 33 years that he died, he was 67. There isn't a single day that i don't think of him.

It is so sad that you have lost your grandfather, it is a wound upon your soul and heart. However I congratulate you for having had your grandfather well into your adulthood.
You were given the gift to really know him.

Beautiful colors ...

Hi Amy,

this a beautiful photo to share your feelings here... I never known my grand fathers : one is dead because he worked in a mine and the other one died in Auschwitz... But I can understand you because I never accept the death of one of my grand mother...
What can I say else? Take care you and your family...

Fred

My sympathy, Amy. A very fitting image.

Marleen

Amazing colours! Love the darkness and the lights in this moment! Nice shot!

It looks like a sunset to me, my deepest condolences, from my experience, for every sunset there is also a sunrise. I can not say it in English because it would not translate, so Klem Gazza

Hello Amy !

Sincerely,
