I took this photo in Maroma Beach, Mexico, the day of my little brother's wedding. They had an evening wedding planned in Cancun (a touristy, un-Mexican place), so my husband and I decided to do a road trip to one of The Travel Channel's World's Best Beaches. We went on a snorkeling trip despite the fact that I was 22 weeks pregnant and had a wonderful time. The skies and sea are amazing shades of blue, and I liked the contrast of them with the colorful umbrellas and chairs.

The image is scanned so I know the quality isn't great but I hope you enjoy this summer image!

Lovely colours that really portray the image of a holiday! Well done

-4.5 °C in Belgium, but clear and dry... so as far as I'm concerned summer can wait a bit, Alli ;o).
I've no remarks about the quality, on my old laptop screen it looks really nice. And I checked out the horizon, which is perfectly level. I like the contrasting colours here - and those palm trees!
TFS.

Hi Alli,
I feel like sitting over there and admiring that beautiful, warm and sunny beach. The colours and sharpness are excellent, it does not look like a scan photo. It makes me forget this rainy winter.
Well done.
Luc

Alli, you get to go to the coolest places ever! Very nice shot, great capture of the colors and the feeling I think of when I think of the Yucatan

Hi Alli, nice colors in this one, but it does lack people since it's not a nature shot but a barroom shot. And maybe it would have been better to inlude all of the chairs' legs at least at the second table. This way it looks like something's missing at the bottom. But it is a lovely shot and the colors alone make it.

ah, summer, it is in the 80's in Buenos Aires, a bit hot but better weather than home right now!!

I enjoyed this shot, TFS

Hi Alli,
I just came back from a holiday at a beach resort in Malaysia. I thought that was nice but now seeing your shot, I feel I need to get out there to Mexico. I simply love the combination of colors you've captured in your shot!

cheers and may the good light be with you,
kc
