Martine once again . This time I added the subject she was staring at (^_^) here .

Technically . After a few days of observation, I planned this shoot. For this one I had to wait for the afternoon light to get the sun behind her, and her tan to get darker too..... Therefore having the favorable light on her back and get best colors on the sea and sky, avoiding the glare and heavy morning reflections on the sea. In the morning I would see also only her silhouette against the sun.

A Workshop will follow tomorrow with a cropped version.

Hi Robert,
I'm having a hard time deciding which view I like better, the beach or the girl, lol. Excellent focus here, quite a layered effect from the rocks, sea and sand. Such a sharp and defined shot, can make out every detail. Nicely composed too - well done.

Hi Robert,
Very nice composition, the depth of field works nicely blurring the boat, giving it a kind of "dreamy" image. Colors are strong, enhanced by the big black frame (contrast). You´re in Mexico but she is wearing a "Rio de Janeiro" bathing suit? Good thing you mentioned the place where you took the picture -could have had people mistaken :o)
