[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a real Sea Wolf: a sailor, "a pirate of the Caribbean" (!), a captain of a catamaran, ...a friend of mine. His name is Gennaro. As per him, he is a pirate, his father was a pirate, etc. :)

Location: Caribbean sea near Cancun. August 1, 2006.

I really liked his "piraty" looks and accessories.

About the photo: I rotated +3 to straighten the line of horizon (well, the catamaran was moving, you know... :)), added contast +6, brightness +2 and sharpness +46. Here is the result.

Nice portrait and character image. I wish it were in the light more vs the shadow but sets a good mood and setting. Where is his eye patch?

Hello Irina,

I suggest you need to have a fill in flash to illuminate his face, thereby eliminating harsh shadows. Cheers always.

I think it's a nice and character portrait.
But I agree with Jeffrey - you need yo hace a fill flash to get good lighting on the face.
