Hi Julie, the sandpiper is the featured attraction here but I like the photo in whole overall. First the dry sand, then the wet sand and the water coming in. Footprints are nice for some natural character to the pic. Great job, thanks.

Great shot of this skinny legged bird, I'm jalouse ;) Nice how the foot prints show clearly in the wet sand. The partly shown sea is a bit disturbing, made a different crop in the WS. Neverheless a superb sharp and interesting photo my dear Julie! My compiments.

I knew that name, but know I can attatch a picture to the sandpiper, and what a picture it is.
Love those legs - the grains of sand and this soft natural colour combination (this from someone who uses in your face colours a lot of the time).
