Well, after a small interlude from Charlotte the Destroyer, we return to Mexico.

This is a view of the Ik Kil Eco-Archaeological Park Cenote.

Located 82 feet below the surface with an opening to the Yucatán sky, the Blue Cenote offers a cool and refreshing place to relax and swim.
Lush vegetation drapes the sides of the Blue Cenote with the crystal clear waters illuminated by sunny Maya skies. Maya divers launch themselves each day from the earth to the depths of the deep pool.
Waterfalls gently cascade down the rocky slope of the Blue Cenote, creating a soothing and peaceful background sound at the pool.

Merci bien
Ciao, Antonella

If there was no elevator then I would be totally worn out after climbing down. I assume that this is natural Pierre, just in teh sinkhole and nothing man made? Good colour and just enough sharpness. TFS,
David

What a POV, Pierre. You must not suffer vertigo as I do at times. I have that feeling now ; ). Excellent use of the ropes and falls to make me fall in. Interesting and well presented. Bravo Mon Ami.
Amitiés sincères

Pretty incredible shot, Pierre - I've never seen anything quite like this, a very educational image and note.

Quality of the shot is first rate, sharp details and lots of interest here. Very good TL post.

Bonjour Pierre,
Ivan

The PoV is fabulous! The composition works VERY well. I wish only for a bit more colour saturation

What a COOL place Pierre! Love this!! Would love to be swimming here, but I'll bet it's ice cold! I've been there in May, swimming in the cenotes and they are FREEZING!...but they are so beautiful! Did you swim??
B-)

Hi Piet,

I think this image may be a bit darker, coz it has a lot of very light parts...Other than that I think it's a very nice view you give us here. this MUST be a very nice place to relax... a very special place indeed.

Cheers,
Anneke

Bonjour Pierre

Quel beau paradis.

Bravo, Yan :)

hello Pierre

My 1st visit to your gallery to find a marvelous shot of this interesting feature, well presented to show a wide view. I must say it is a great place for a hot day dip.

Great shot.

tfs, bill

Very exotic! In the thumb I thought it was some kind of trick PS work (I am not only deaf, but now it seems partially blind, lol)
Seems like you are in the spot where they were diving from, so I assume you did?!?
Cheers
Otto
