Ninfa, Nenúfar, Nymph, Nymphaea

This picture was taken in the garden of reproduction of ornament plants ' Vivero' in the municipality of Paradise, Tabasco. Flower of the Swamp is generally denominated. It is also known as: nikteja (flower of water). In Tabasco it is more common the species in white color, although other species of different colors are also cultivated, of import.

Hi Ninfa, looks like a lotus flower, could it be from the same speices?
Nice shot, the contrasting orange against the dark water gives it a very mystical feel, a little to centralized, a tighter crop might have been nice.

Interesting light effect on the flower. I really like the atmosphere coming from the soft and dark colors of the water. Beautiful composition.
