WOOHOO!!! Crossed the 15K border :-)
Now I can exchange them for that thing I always wanted.

Taken in the Riviera Maya in Mexico.

And NO! I have never tried that. Nor will I ever. Not that crazy :-).

PP: Changed the parasail from yellow to TL smiley green.
Applied lots of noise reduction and lots of sharpening.
This was a really bad photo. Now it's not as bad :-).
Oh yeah, moved the sailboat closer to the parasail.

Parasailing
Parasailing, also known as parascending, is a recreational activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle (usually a boat) while attached to a specially designed parachute, known as a parasail. The boat then drives off, carrying the parascender into the air. If the boat is powerful enough, two or three people can parasail behind it at the same time. The parascender has little or no control over the parachute.

There are six parts of a parasail. The harness attaches the pilot to the parasail, which is connected to the boat, or other speeding vehicle, by the tow rope.

The tow line in normally made up of Kevlar. This synthetic fiber of high tensile strength is better than any type of steel. Metal in water sports would rust and weaken. Also in the rare event where a line does break, kevlar would go limp unlike steel would whip back causing more havoc on the boat than the people in the air.

The activity is primarily an amusement ride, not to be confused with the sport of paragliding.

This is a happy shot!

Nice, level horizon, always good to see :-) Well composed with our interest captured by the three subjects - four, if you count that lovely parasail. The colours work well and compliment each other and I like the white horses that break up the blue sea throughout the scene. Just a very pleasing view, your cybershot has done you proud on this one!

Congrats, Pierre (Piet). Nice smiley, maybe Adam will use it as the bright green one on TL from now on.
Nice scene too, but what really caught my eye here (beside the smiley) is the creative frame you used. A first for me, in general I dislike frames...

Bonjour Pierre,
Cliché des plus insolite!
Et oui le sourire il faut le garder en toutes circonstances, bienvu, de plus il ressort superbement sur le bleu de la mer
