The fly and the ant
This rope, has it transformed into my favorite one, is a great pasarella (footbridge, gangplank?), here they do parade and do a series of insects like the red dragonfly that I photographed eight days ago happen and from that day I have photographed around 3 or 4 dragonflies that have posed in the same thread.
This afternoon, I was observing if some dragonfly walked near the rope, when I saw this fly, I still am not able to know well and to configure my camera Sony DSC PS32 of 3.2 megapixeles treatment of making approaches and the insect appears blurred and the very clear bottom, for each 20 pictures that I take alone 1 are acceptable, and good, I decided to also practice with this fly. I took several pictures and when I saw them in the pc this I cause myself a lot of grace, I had not seen the ant that appears in the picture, it was a pleasant surprise, she makes me think of several things:
1. Perhaps the ant was escaping from the fly.
2. There are two forms of walking for the rope.
3. The ant is a juggler

Note:I changed the bottom of bricks, now I take with me a portfolio of yellow color and I place it of bottom to avoid that the bottom of bricks of the patio appears.

Well seen Ninfa, I think the ant is hiding from the fly!

Happy Sunday too.

Reminds me of James Bond. The bad guy thinks he has dealt a fatal blow but somehow James manages to climb back and defeat his opponent.
The pic is a bit grainy but I like this composition a lot.

Absolutely great choice of colors.

boa macro,está bonita

A wonderful display of tight rope walking and ballet, a very interesting combination Ninfa, once again I like the texture of the rope as well as the fact you used a yellow card/portfoloio for the background, very creative.
This shot couldn't have been easy, as flies don't normally allow you to get too close?
Well seen and captured.

very nice close up Ninfa :) I loved the colors and composition..and it is a very good idea to carry a background plate for macros...
regarding focusing, I have the similar problem too..I guess if the background and the object's (insect, flower) colors are similar, autofocus goes nuts and focuses on bacground more...I will be happy for a more technical explanation of course...

Wow... ahora captas hasta una mosca en reposo!!!
Esto si que no es facil, ya que el solo intento de acercarse produce el alejamiento inmediato de este insecto.
Y como fuera poco... el detalle de la pequeña hormiga... no la habras colocado tu alli como si fuera una modelo, verdad?
