both Bodmin and i have been a bit under the weather so i tried to cheer myself up with something girly and fun :-) this shot was taken a few months ago.. i had just bought these great shoes and was trying then on (sadly they had to go back as they were a bit loose..) when i thought 'mmmm.. these shoes look pretty photogenic!' ihih so i set the camera up, climbed on a table and took some shots.. of course i only managed to take a few before Bodmin leapt up next to me to join in... ^_^ - and as i was trying them on it occured to me that i had absolutely nowhere to wear them in the town where i was living then so... hence the title..

PP consisted of cropping and resizing, coverting to grayscale, cloning out the table i was standing on, usm, then the application of my much loved grain via 'add noise' and a soft lighting effect for more film noir-esque drama.. then simply framed, added text and my sickle moon and voila! i really hope you enjoy it :-)

take care all,

Ayda

Very fun picture, Ayda, and I really like the title. Very classy picture with a great way to show off these shoes...could be a page in a catalogue. Good idea to include a part of your leg (you have good legs so why not show them) and the one foot behind the other. Nice treatment as usual. Well done!

Really pleasant, Ayda ! Nice grain on B/W, well cropped composition and sexy style. Well done, this is a good work.
Take care,
Martine

Nice pose, Ayda ;o). Amazing, you only show us your legs and shoes, and immediately we know you were "all dressed up"... imagine what it would look like should you have taken a long-shot here, hehe. I like the film noir approach, but I think the shoe model is a bit out of style (for film noir, that is). I'm glad you're feeling up to posting again.
TFS and... take care.
And hug Sir Bodmin for me, will you ?

awesome work, i really like the light in this picture.
The grain is very nice too.
The composition is perfect!
nice job!
Fred

Very stylish, Ayda! Love the background light with such a nice gradient. Not sure if it's the USM, but there is a halo around your beautiful legs that's a bit distracting. Otherwise, a great composition. Good work!

dear ayda,

I love the words, I love the picture. I think bw is much better than the violet one.

Nice graphic. I relly like the simplicity, and the lighting is absolutely the best. Great work. Do you have a shot with Bodmin? I think that would look great with the cat included.
