Lone Runner Chicago Skyline
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| On a cold, cold, day in February, 2002, I just happened to be driving down Lakeshore Drive when I saw the waves crashing up against the breakwall on Lake Michigan. The lone runner, bless his heart, was an added bonus to the Chicago skyline. It only took 30 minutes and some frostbit fingers to catch this photograph at just the right moment. At infinity focus everything remained in good focus at f5.6. |

A wonderful moment, caught so sharply that I almost can feel the cold coming off my screen. Colors and composition are right on. As you can tell, I like this very much.
Regards,
Lois
HI Joe...I like your shot...nicely composed with nice details...

Quite a shot of the windy city. Those waves are impressive. You've chosen an excellent point of view and the photo has a good feeling coming from it. It makes me want to visit Chicago. Great composition.
Take care,
Migelo
