Hi Ronald,
this looks like a busy Marina.I'm not sure what effect you were after, I guess a more painterly effect than that of a photograph would give? Could you post the original as a WS so we can view the differences? There is one area I think you could improve on.The lighter colored section to the left, near the pirate flag, appears out of place,I find it a distraction.

A true mid-west photo! Thanks for sharing this. I like this photo. The sky is very interesting. I'm a beginner, so mostly I know what I like, but can't articulate why. It is a busy photo, but what marina isn't? I like what I describe as different levels of subjects, i.g. the water, boats, trees and finally the sky.
