While on a hike at Mounds State Park in Anderson, Indiana, I caught the scent of rotting fish. Then I saw the source of the smell -- a nearly dried fish carcass on top of a fallen tree stripped of its bark.
As I got closer with my camera, I saw that there was at least one creature on this planet who was not so offended by the odor.
