what is striking in a fox.. are its eyes.. they are similar to cat eyes.. quiet diabolic.. its sight (eyes to eyes) is really impressive!! i have seen so much foxes in the Regional Park here, near Grosseto.. it's a strange thing for me cause i'm a citizen.. born and lived in Rome.. however they are different.. from this, you have captured.. they are short-coated.. and more red!!.. your capture is beautiful.. expression and colours are really wonderful!! many thanks Vandana!!

This fox is so lovely, you have captured him/her in your unique way, fantastic colours and background.
I wish I was able to get as close to the foxes I have living the woods behind me, I see them quite often running across the road but just not when I have a camera to hand.

He is indeed beautiful, Vandana. We once rescued a kit whose mother had been killed on the high way. We had him for about 8 months before he was ready to retune to the wild. We found much his behavior very cat like. This specimen looks to be in beautiful health and you have captured the feral look perfectly. What a wonderful place you were at.

Very nice one! Difficult to approach the foxes there?
At my parents place, there are foxes around. Wild ones. And those are very difficult to get a photograph of! You really need to lay there in the woods for hours before they give you a chance for a photograph.

While others need 400mm FL to shoot, you need only 200mm for up close photos. How's that? You probably have a way with wild animals! This foxy one looks tame for your capture, on digital or physical.

Hi Vandana,

Yet another superb capture! Great pose again, excellent detail and colour, optimal POV.

I sometimes get visits from urban "Reynards" in my back garden. Unfortunately, it's nearly always at night and I'm never quick enough to get my camera. I don't mind though, it's fun enough just to catch sight of one at close quarters as it turns round to give a bold, foxy stare for a moment, before strolling off into cover. Very interesting animals!

Bonjour ma chère Vandana,
here a beautiful POV, of one of my preferred animals. I love the foxes, I find them splendid with their russet-red fur. They are very intelligent, one can even say "artful", apprehensive, being wary, fortunately in France, one don't any shot since they are not carrying any more the rabies.
