I added a little sunburst, but do you think it's too much? I like the blurred background, but not sure how that happened; was it the F-Stop? I need help.

Dennis,
The blurred back ground was result of short depth of field. You probably used a big opening for light, to compensate the poor natural. It does give a great blurred background.
If you were not using a macro lenses, this is a great shot.
If you were indeed using macro, there is still a lot to learn :))))

HI Dennis, Oana here not Linda :))

this is by far one of the best in your gallery
as i read from your explanation you don t have a macro lens so i congratulate the efforts
the sharpness is pretty good as well the colors and DOF
i am not a fan of lens flare never use it and i thing the capture was looking better without this effect
but of course is about tastes and i can t blame this
So wish you grate captures
Greetings,
Oana
