I wish we had these birds in England. I love seeing pictures of the females. Most people show the bright red males but the females have such lovely colouring. Excellent pose. Great POV, good DOF and nice sharp details

Hi Chris, she looks like one cold little girl! She's all fluffed up. Nice note on the bird. I'd like to get some pics of bluebirds, but they're hard to find. Great pov and dof, the compo is strong since you got an interesting moment of coldness. TFS.

It is rare that we get to see the cardinals - let alone a female one (It seems the cardinals are more scarce than I recall as a child) Wonderfully crisp details and an excellent choice with the shallow depth of field to isolate her from the BG.
