This must be a park pet. I was walking towards this tree to get support for another shot. This squirrel ran in front of me and stood up on his back legs. I think he wanted some food, but I had none. We stood looking at each other, so I decided to immortalize him on TL.
A red filter was added on CS4. Is this too much red? |

Ha! Dennis, your art genius is showing through! Nope, not too much red for this imagery. Great color and great framing throughout! Looks like this guy posed just for you. You should find him again and give him an acorn for his winter pantry!! This one's a winner! Cheers!

Hi Dennis
Good capture. He doesn't appear to be afraid at all. The red may be a bit too much but it's still a great shot.

Hi Dennis,
The squirrel has good sharpness and a very unusual pose. I would have gladly donated my acorn, but it's been returned to the woods to feed the critters behind my house. The red is a matter of taste, but IMO there's a bit too much. Is this a red squirrel?
Best regards,
Werner
Hello Dennis,
You had interesting meeting with this squirrel.
Very good sharpness and PP work.

What a cute fella! This photo is insanely good and I can't believe I missed it before! I love the frame idea and the way the red squirrel is waiting for the great portrait man to take his shot! I don't think its too red at all. I think you managed the exposure well here and still got a very sharp shot here despite 1/60 sec. The 18-105 VR I has great sharpness at f/8.0 and it is relatively a safe bet to shoot at 1/60 or higher handheld for blur free shots at full zoom. I would say it is 100% hit rate at 1/80 sec but below this it is hit an miss.
regards,
Dilshan
